Is LATISSE for Me?

Both men and women whose lashes are sparse, short, or insufficient can benefit from eyelash enhancement in Virginia Beach. Many women choose LATISSE to bring out their eyes naturally, without makeup.

During Your Procedure

LATISSE is a prescription treatment that you can use in the comfort of your home. The product is applied to the upper lash line every evening, similarly to how you would apply eyeliner. Even though the product is only applied to the upper lash line, as you sleep, the serum will treat the lower lash line as well.

Recovery and Healing

There is absolutely no recovery time associated with LATISSE. During treatment, you will notice a visible difference in the length, fullness, and darkness of your lashes at about week 8. After 16 weeks, maximum results are achieved. Continued maintenance treatment will then be discussed.

A Complete Makeover

Many people who want to see more substantial changes in their eyes choose eyelid surgery or a brow lift.

Here are some answers to common questions our patients have about LATISSE.

LATISSE® in Virginia Beach from Hubbard Plastic Surgery

    What is LATISSE?

LATISSE solution is a prescription treatment for eyelash hypotrichosis. Eyelash hypotrichosis is another name for having inadequate or not enough eyelashes, and LATISSE is used to grow eyelashes, making them longer, thicker, and darker.

    How does it work?

LATISSE is believed to affect the growth (anagen) phase of the eyelash hair cycle in 2 ways: first, it increases the length of this phase; and second, it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. The exact way it works is not known.

How soon will I see results?

The onset of changes to the eyelashes with LATISSE solution is gradual. In the clinical trial, the majority of LATISSE users saw a significant improvement in 8 to 12 weeks.

    How is LATISSE different?

Only LATISSE has been approved by the FDA as a prescription treatment for hypotrichosis used to grow eyelashes. It also has been studied in clinical trials to demonstrate its safety and effectiveness. In clinical trials, 78% of patients saw improved eyelash length, fullness, and darkness after 16 weeks.
