This Hampton Virginia woman in her twenties came for a rhinoplasty consultation because she was concerned about several distracting features of her nose. Her most obvious concern was lowering the hump on her nose, but during our detailed discussion she became aware of other improvements that could be made. Her nose was too long and needed to be rotated up just a little. Her nose was pulling her lip upward resulting in a less attractive transition from the nose to the upper lip. The margins of her nostrils arched upward. With our thorough consultation, she was surprised to learn there were other opportunities for improvement. She chose to proceed with all the other suggested aesthetic options. The crookedness was addressed at the same time and grafts were placed to maintain her breathing for the rest of her life. Following her surgery 5 months ago she is very happy with the natural appearance of her nose and feels that it fits her face more beautifully. She will continue to see improvement as the swelling resolves for up to a year.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

We are excited to announce our reopening as of May 1st. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: Our commitment to your safety.

Consultations are available in our office and we will continue to offer Virtual Consultations as well. You will be asked to complete your registration paperwork in our secure patient portal prior to your appointment and your consultation fee will be collected by phone to minimize contact.

Here are a few changes we have made as we transition to this new era:

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well, have a fever, have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 or travelled internationally within the last month.
  • We will limit the number of people in the building and waiting area to maintain social distancing and our staff will be wearing masks until restrictions are eased.
  • Please wear a mask during your visit but do not wear gloves. You will be given hand sanitizer.
