This 31-year-old woman was bothered by the appearance of her nose.  During a thorough consultation, we devised a plan to make significant but not drastic changes, thus making her results look as natural as possible.  I explained that her septum had overgrown, her lip was pulled up, and her columella was hanging down. I also explained that her tip was under-projected and under-rotated, meaning it should be turned up a little more.  Her tip was also wide and there was a little extra width to the bones .  These “after” photos were taken only five months after her procedure, so there is still a little swelling around the tip, and her final results will not be visible until after a year. Regardless, we can see that the tip has been rotated up and her columella was brought up as well. We can also see that her tip is narrower which will continue to improve over the course of the first year.  The after photos demonstrate that her lip is not pulled up onto her nose and that I trimmed posterior septal angle during the procedure. Her bridge was loweredjust enough to smooth the hump while maintaining a natural appearance. She and her family are extremely happy with this natural appearance and how it now accentuates rather than detracts from her natural beauty.
