For many years this patient has been bothered by the shape of her nose especially from the side where the tip seems to dip downward and there is a large hump on her nose.  She did not have any difficulty breathing but she wanted a more natural looking nose.  It was important to recognize before surgery that what appears to be a large hump on the bridge of her nose is actually due to poor tip position.  The tip needed to be rotated upward and in the right position compared to the bridge. It was important to lower the bridge only as much as necessary so the result would appear natural and make it less likely that her breathing would be affected.  Therefore during surgery, her tip was brought up the appropriate amount and the tip repositioned.  This allowed me to lower the bridge just the right amount.  Following her rhinoplasty, the patient is very pleased with the more aesthetic appearance of her nose and the softness it has brought to her face.  She is no longer self conscious about posing for photos.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

We are excited to announce our reopening as of May 1st. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: Our commitment to your safety.

Consultations are available in our office and we will continue to offer Virtual Consultations as well. You will be asked to complete your registration paperwork in our secure patient portal prior to your appointment and your consultation fee will be collected by phone to minimize contact.

Here are a few changes we have made as we transition to this new era:

  • Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well, have a fever, have been exposed to anyone with Covid-19 or travelled internationally within the last month.
  • We will limit the number of people in the building and waiting area to maintain social distancing and our staff will be wearing masks until restrictions are eased.
  • Please wear a mask during your visit but do not wear gloves. You will be given hand sanitizer.
